1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how UNITI Cyber Media LLC, a Kansas limited liability company ("UNITI Cyber Media," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit uniticybermedia.com (the "Site"), subscribe to our newsletter, create a member account, purchase a subscription or digital product, or otherwise interact with us.

UNITI Cyber Media is the controller responsible for your personal information. For any privacy question or request, contact us by email at inquiry@uniticybermedia.com.

UNITI Cyber Media is a separate entity from UNITI Cyber LLC. This policy applies only to UNITI Cyber Media and the Site.

2. Scope
This policy applies to personal information we process about visitors, newsletter subscribers, members, and customers. It does not apply to third-party websites or services we link to, which have their own privacy policies.

3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you provide to us

Contact and account information. Your name, email address, and any details you enter when you subscribe to the newsletter, create a member account, or submit a form on the Site.
Payment information. When you purchase a subscription or digital product, your payment is processed by Wix Payments. We receive confirmation of your transaction and limited billing details. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. See Section 7.
Communications. The content of messages you send us and our correspondence with you.

3.2 Information collected automatically

Usage and device information. When you use the Site, our website platform collects standard analytics and log information such as pages viewed, sessions, traffic sources, engagement, approximate location, browser and device type, and the dates and times of your visits. This is first-party analytics provided by our website platform. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking services.
Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 6.

3.3 Information we do not intentionally collect

We do not seek to collect special categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or political data). Please do not send us such information unless we specifically request it for a stated purpose.

4. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:

Deliver the newsletter and the content and membership benefits you sign up for.
Create and manage your member account and process your subscription or purchases.
Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
Send service messages about your account, purchases, billing, and material changes to this policy or our terms.
Send marketing communications where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law. You can withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time.
Understand how the Site is used and operate, secure, maintain, and improve it.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

Contract. To provide the membership, subscription, or product you have requested, and to administer your account.
Consent. For marketing communications where consent is required, and for non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Legitimate interests. To secure and improve the Site, understand how it is used, and protect against fraud and misuse, balanced against your rights.
Legal obligation. To meet tax, accounting, and other legal requirements.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies.

Essential cookies are required for the Site to function, including login, security, member access, and payment. These are always active.
Analytics cookies support the first-party analytics described in Section 3.2, which are provided by our website platform (Wix). We do not use third-party advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies.

We use a cookie consent banner (provided by Usercentrics) to obtain and record consent for non-essential cookies in line with GDPR. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the banner and can change your choice at any time. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working.

If we add advertising or third-party analytics tools in the future, we will update this section and our consent banner before those tools are active.

7. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. Most of the Site runs on first-party features of our website platform rather than external data brokers. We share personal information only with the service providers that operate the Site on our behalf, and where required by law.

Website platform, hosting, and site features. The Site is built and hosted on Wix, including the member area, forms, pricing plans, store, blog, and first-party analytics. Wix processes personal information on our behalf as our processor under its Data Processing Agreement.
Payment processing. Payments are processed through Wix Payments. Accepted methods include credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal, all handled within Wix Payments. Your card details are handled by the payment processor under its own security standards.
Email delivery. We currently send email, including newsletter issues and service messages, using Google's email service (Gmail / Google Workspace). We are moving email to automated delivery within our website platform, and we will update this policy when that change takes effect.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of UNITI Cyber Media, our members, or others.

Our newsletter content is published on the Site. We may also share links to our content on third-party platforms such as Substack and social networks, but subscribing and reading on those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not this one.

8. International Data Transfers
We and our service providers may process personal information in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where personal information protected by the GDPR is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses are used, together with additional technical and organizational measures. You may request more information about these safeguards using the contact details in Section 14.

9. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Account and transaction records are kept for the life of the account plus 6 years. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

10. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you and obtain a copy.
Rectify inaccurate or incomplete information.
Erase your information (the right to be forgotten), subject to legal exceptions.
Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
Data portability, to receive certain information in a portable format.
Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
Complain to a data protection supervisory authority. In the EU this is your local authority; in the UK it is the Information Commissioner's Office.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at inquiry@uniticybermedia.com. We handle these requests directly. Account deletion is processed manually on request rather than through a self-service tool, so please contact us and we will delete your account and associated personal data. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally within one month under the GDPR, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Where information is held within our website platform, we fulfill requests using the platform's data-access and data-deletion tools. Where information sits with another provider, such as our email provider, we coordinate directly with that provider so that your request is handled completely.

11. United States State Privacy Rights
This section applies to residents of US states that provide privacy rights by law, including California and other states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws when those laws apply to us. These laws may include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. State laws have different thresholds and exemptions, so some rights may apply only when UNITI Cyber Media meets the applicable legal threshold or when a particular type of processing occurs.

Depending on your state and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:

Confirm whether we process your personal information.
Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Delete personal information we collected from or about you.
Receive a portable copy of certain personal information.
Opt out of the sale of personal information.
Opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, where that right applies.
Opt out of targeted advertising, where that right applies.
Opt out of certain profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, where that right applies.
Limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information, where that right applies.
Appeal a denial of your privacy request, where state law provides an appeal right.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use third-party advertising pixels, cross-site behavioral advertising tools, or third-party ad networks on the Site. We do not use personal information for targeted advertising or for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. If those practices change, we will update this policy and provide any required opt-out method before the change is active.

You may submit a state privacy request by emailing inquiry@uniticybermedia.com. Please describe the right you want to exercise and provide enough information for us to verify and respond to your request. You do not need to create a new account to submit a request. If you use an authorized agent, we may ask for proof that the agent is authorized to act for you and may also ask you to verify your identity directly.

We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we deny your request in whole or in part, we will explain the reason when required. If your state gives you an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our decision email with the word "Appeal" and a short explanation of why you disagree.

11.1 California notice
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, when those laws apply to us. Those rights may include the right to know, access, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and be free from discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

During the 12 months before the "Last updated" date of this policy, we collected the categories of personal information described in Section 3, used them for the purposes described in Section 4, and disclosed them to the service-provider categories described in Section 7. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information and do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

We provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the Site footer. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, using that link records your request and gives us a channel to honor it if our practices change.

11.2 California and Delaware online privacy disclosures

This policy identifies the categories of personal information we collect, the categories of service providers and third parties with whom we share information, the process for requesting access, correction, or deletion, the process for policy-change notices, and the effective date of the policy.

We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because there is no uniform industry standard for those signals. We also do not permit third-party advertising networks or similar parties to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services when you use the Site. If we begin using such technologies, we will update this policy and the cookie consent controls.

11.3 Nevada privacy rights
Nevada law allows Nevada residents to submit a verified request directing certain website operators not to make any sale of covered information. We do not sell covered information as that term is used in Nevada law. Nevada residents may still submit an opt-out request by emailing inquiry@uniticybermedia.com or by using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the Site footer.

11.4 Consumer health data
Some states have specific privacy laws for consumer health data. UNITI Cyber Media does not seek to collect consumer health data, medical information, biometric information, precise health-related location information, or similar sensitive health information through the Site. If we later offer a product or feature that collects consumer health data, we will update this policy and provide any separate notice or consent required by applicable law before collecting that information.

12. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, including the security controls provided by our website and payment platforms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for working professionals and students and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe someone under 16 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes and How to Contact Us
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
